Derek Orange has over 20 years of experience working within banking and capital investment organizations, private equity and legal relationships, forecasting capital needs, driving growth targets and overseeing complex financial structures. Prior to joining Davis Martindale, Derek was Executive Vice President at VAST Industrial Group of Companies. His prior experience includes District Director, Southwestern Ontario for Roynat Capital, Associate Director, Corporate Banking at Scotia Capital and an Associate at TD Commercial Real Estate.

Derek is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CGA). After graduating from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree and from McMaster University with a Masters in Business Administration, Derek continued his studies in the area of accounting and moving on to focus his efforts on transactions. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and numerous banking courses including Sales Training, several courses on Legal Documentation and Risk provided by high profile law firms.

Personal
